Magic of 9

Take any number of any digit. Then rearrange the digits of the above number. Take the difference of both the numbers, add the digits of the difference. Go no adding the digits of result. The last result will be 9.
Ex: 1679, 1976. The diff is 297. Add 2+9+7=18, 1+8=9.

Better india

Our india is not so poor to depend upon the tax revenue from liquor and tobacco.
Revenue from other taxes are sufficient to run nation well. So lets unite and make our home clean and a better home. i.e. INDIA a better INDIA.
More the revenue, more the govt will spent, more will be politicians share.

Simulation

Simulation is just a simple technique to find upcoming event on the basis of probabiliy.

Lets take an example of toss of a coin:
Probability of Heads is 50% and Tales is 50%.
Lets assign number to them;
01 to 50 is assigned to Heads and 51 to 100 is assigned to Tales.
OK ! lets for our convenience we make it a two digit number,
00 to 49 is assigned to Heads and 50 to 99 is assigned to Tales.
Now, Ask  your friend to tell any two digit number.
Suppose he said '56' then find 56 is assigned to which event??
Yes u r right, 56 is assigned to Tale.
Tales will come, if u toss the coin.
Sameways try some more times and know the upcoming event.

Sox act

Sox is actually an Act passed in 2002 in US.

After the big Scam by Enron (like that by Satyam in India) US govt introduced SOX Act.
This requires the companies registered in any recognised stock exchange in US to get a certificate by its Stat Auditor in its Internal Control Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR).

This is likely to introduced in India also as SEBI India is worried about Corporate Governance among Indian Companies after the Scam of Satyam.

Cenvat credit in outward freight

Cenvat credit is available in service tax paid in outward freight,
subject to 3 conditions:
-ownership is transferred at place of delivery.
-risk of transit lies with the assessee.
-assessable value is the value at place of delivery i.e. "FOR".

Cenvat credit in purchases for Captive Power Plant

Cenvat credit can be availed for purchses made for captive power plant though the electricity is not excisable.
However credit is available only proporetionate to the power consumed for prodution of dutiable goods.
